A nine-year old girl was killed in a Warren County(IL) house fire late last(Tues) night.
It was about 11:15 when Warren Central Fire trucks from Kirkwood and Cameron were called to a home engulfed in flames in rural Cameron. Two children and an adult escaped without injury, but the victim had to be located and removed from the house; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The names of the victim and family are not yet being released. Firefighters from Abingdon and Alexis assisted at the scene through the night and early morning.
