The Des Moines County Attorney’s office has a state Division of Criminal Investigation report about the fatal shooting of 34-year old Autumn Steele by officer Jesse Hill in early January.
That, according to a story in today’s(Fri.) Hawk Eye (newspaper). The story quotes County Attorney Amy Beavers as saying she’s still waiting for a transcript of Hill’s interview with DCI…and she’d like to talk to the victim’s husband, Gabriel Steele, before making a decision herself as to whether the shooting was justified or not…or asking the state Attorney General’s office to review the case first.
