Siemens in FM to Make Turbine Blades for Pattern Energy in Texas

The Siemens factory in Ft. Madison has just taken another sizeable order.

A wind energy industry publication says the local plant will make 261 turbine blades for Pattern Energy Group, for a project in Comanche County, Texas, known as Logan’s Gap.

The other parts of the turbines will be made at Siemens’ plant in Hutchinson, Kansas.
