Keokuk Man Arrested on Meth Charges

A Keokuk man arrested on meth charges Sunday by the Lee County Narcotics Taskforce.

Unit Commander Stacy Weber said in a news release that 29 year old Drew Edward Garretson was arrested in the 2700 Block of Main Street after an active “Shake and Bake” meth lab was found while Keokuk Police were serving an arrest warrant on Garretson for a probation violation.

Garretson faces up to 91 years in prison if convicted on all charges. He’s facing a felony count of meth manufacturing and two misdemeanor counts of meth possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
