The Burlington City Council will hold a public hearing on their budget tonight (Monday) during their regular monthly meeting at 5:30.
The budget, which contains a surplus of around $6,000, won’t raise property taxes in Burlington. It will, however, bump up Garbage and Sewer rates by around a quarter and 3%, respectively.
The City will also proclaim Chris Chiprez as Officer of the Year, and discuss plans and specifications for the 2015 Division Street resurfacing project.
