The Danville Boys Basketball team is headed back to the state championship this afternon. The second-seeded AND undefeated Bears will take on 7th seeded West Hancock today in Des Moines.
On the college level the University of Northern Iowa’s Men’s Basketball Team are Missouri Valley Conference Champions after a comeback victory over Illinois State. The Panthers came back from a 36-22 halftime deficit with a 25-4 scoring run that left the Redbirds in the dust.
In the NBA, the Chicago Bulls fell to the San Antonio Spurs 116-105. In the NHL the New York Rangers beat the Blackhawks 1-0 in overtime.
Kevin Harvick took the checkered flag during the Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last night. It was Harvick’s first win of the season after winning last year’s Sprint Cup Championship.
