SnowBull, Shamrock Shuffle, Great Weather Make Up This Weekend

It’s a busy weekend in Burlington. Two major events taking place across the river front: The SnowBull and the Shamrock Shuffle.

The “Snow Bull” is a unique annual event for Burlington: an indoor bull riding show. Promoter Dave Rice says it’s a professional level event with a huge draw.

“We have bull riders coming all the way from… Texas,  North Dakota, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska…we have a great lineup of bull riders for each night,” Rice told KBUR.

The event includes a number of other activities, such as kids sheep riding–judged the exact same way as the adult bull riders.

Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com. SnowBull runs Thursday through Saturday, with the main event kicking off at 7:00 each night.

Registration will be open at the starting line for the Shamrock Shuffle through Crapo Park this Saturday to benefit the Burlington Kiwanis Club in their support of after-school programs in the community. The 5k/Run walk starts at 10:00 am with race day registration between 8:30 and 9:30am.
