A illegal burn damaged a shed on Flint Hills Drive in Burlington.
Burlington Fire Chief Matt Trexel says that firemen arrived to find heavy smoke surrounding a shed on the Larry Caston property at 2409 Flint Hills road. The shed itself did not catch fire, but the grass around it as well as a plastic lawn toy did catch fire. The shed sustained some charring damage.
Harold Brandon of 104 Argyle Road was cited by Burlington Police for illegal burning. Brandon was allegedly burning trash in a burn barrell when some of the embers drifted on the wind, catching the Caston property on fire.
