The man who admitted to using his truck to damage a campground at Shimek State Forest has been arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Department.
Sheriff’s officials say that 47 year old Stacy Frank Schlicher of Primrose road in Donnellson was arrested after a portion of of a bumper, found at the crime scene, was matched to his truck.
During an ice storm, Schlicher allegedly used his truck to knock down fences and sign posts at several camp grounds on March 2nd. Deputies say he admitted to the crime.
He faces felony criminal mischief charges. The damage to the park was between $1,000 and $10,000.
