Keokuk Residents Slapped With Drug Charges

Three Keokuk residents have been arrested on a variety of drug charges following two separate investigations by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force.

47 year old Rhea Ann Humes and 56 year old Robert Merle Wrieden of Palean street in Keokuk were arrested at their residence on felony and misdemeanor drug charges. Humes and Wrieden are facing charges of maintaining a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wrieden’s charges are more severe, he’s also charged with delivery of less than five grams of methamphetamine–a crime he’s been convicted of before. Humes is facing up to 2 years in prison, Wrieden’s elevated charges make him eligible for up to 32 years in prison.

In an unrelated case, Task Force officials arrested 41 year old Kimberle Ann Wright of Keokuk at her residence on charges of maintaining a drug house, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphenalia. She faces up to 3 years in prison.
