NFL Owners Deny Replay Proposals, Sox, Cubs Fall in Spring Training

A group of NFL owners shot down a number of possible rule changes regarding the use of replays in the NFL. Proposals included increasing the number of coach’s challenges from one to three, replay reviews of personal fouls, and one particular proposal that would have allowed nearly any play on the field be subject to review. They did approve several safety proposals, including stopping play when a medical advisor determines that a player is unstable and needs to be taken off the field.

In Spring training baseball, White Sox fell to the Colorado Rockies, 7-6–they play Kansas City tonight, Cubs lost to Oakland, 14-2–they take on Seattle tonight. St Louis plays Washington tonight.

The St. Louis Blues took on Pittsburgh last night, beating them in overtime 3-2. Chicago Blackhawks take on Philadelphia tonight.

In the NBA, the Chicago Bulls take on Toronto tomorrow.
