West Burlington Police have released information on a Wednesday rollover crash that injured a West Burlington woman.

At the intersection of South Gear Avenue and US-34, a vehicle driven by 25 year old Jordan Norton of Mount Pleasant was heading northbound on Gear when a car driven by 66 year old Sharon Polson turned left in front of him while attempting to get onto the US-34 onramp.

The impact from the crash sent the Polson vehicle airborne, rolling once and landing on its top. The Norton vehicle sustained front-end damage.

Polson was ticketed for failure to yield while turning left as well as improper lane usage. She was taken to the hospital with suspected non life-threatening injuries
