Illinois State Police have identified the victim of a one-car fatal accident that occurred in the early hours of March 22nd.
Kayla M. Smith, age 22 of Colchester, died after suffering severe injuries in a fiery early morning crash. Police say Smith’s vehicle flew off an embankment at the T intersection at IL Routes 94 and 9 and drove through a field before hitting a tree.
The crash occurred at 2:05 am.
