A Fort Madison Woman is dead following a fatal late Saturday accident in Rural Des Moines County.
18 year old Brittany LeAnn Russell was a passenger in a car driven by 21 year old Jamie Meyer, also of Fort Madison. Meyer lost control of her vehicle on Hunt Road, entering a ditch and rolling several times. Russell was ejected from the vehicle.
She was taken to Great River Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
The accident occurred at 11:45pm.
