Not many expected Wisconsin to get as far as they did, but the Badgers nevertheless lost in the Championship round of the NCAA Tournament last night. The Duke Blue Devils, led by freshmen Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor, outscored Wisconsin 68-63 in Indianapolis last night.
Burlington High School’s football team has a new coach. Zach Shay comes to Burlington from Augustana College, where he worked as a defensive coordinator. He replaces John Flaherty after nine seasons with the Greyhounds.
In High School Boys Soccer, Fort Madison took down Notre Dame 6-1. Mediapolis lost to Williamsburg 9-0, their girls squad also fell, 6-1.
First night for Baseball for the White Sox, they lost to the Royals, 10-1.
