The Burlington Bees officially open up their 2015 season tonight. The Bees host Brewers affiliate Wisconsin Timber Rattlers with the first pitch at 6:30 tonight at Community Field, kicking off a three game series with the Rattlers.
A Phil Velez Grand Slam lifted the SCC Blackhawks to a 6-5 Victory in the second game of a double header against Black Hawk College. The win split the double header. Black Hawk won the first game, 5-3.
In the Major Leagues, Cubs Shut out the Cardinals 2-0 for their first win this season. Royals took down the White Sox 7-5.
In the NBA, Chicago lost to Orlando by just one basket, 105-103. Derrick Rose returned after missing 20 games for the team, out with a knee injury.
