The Henry County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a late Saturday night accident that sent one person to the hospital.
Sheriff’s Department Officials say that after losing control of their vehicle, an unknown driver wrecked at the intersection of Salem Road and Perkins Road near Lowell.
A passenger was injured and taken to Henry County Health Center. The driver and another passenger fled the scene. They weren’t located as of this morning.
Charges are pending.
