A drunk driver nearly caused a head on collision that sent one to the hospital early Sunday morning.
At around 4:40 am, 52 year old Ana Berta Cisneros of Lomax was intoxicated and driving south on Carman road when their vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and sideswiped a vehicle driven by 48 year old David Stevens of Burlington.
The collision sent both vehicles careening off the roadway. Stevens was taken to Great River Medical Center while Cisneros declined treatment. Cisneros was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Improper Lane Usage.
