Cardinals got word yesterday that star pitcher Adam Wainwright is out for the season with an achilles tendon tear. The White Sox game on the road against Baltimore was postponed due to ongoing rioting in Baltimore.
Prep Soccer, Keokuk Girls remained undefeated with a 4-2 win over Holy Trinity. Keokuk Boys beat Central Lee 9-0. Mount Pleasant Girls beat Washington 3-0.
In the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks continue to be a thorn in the Chicago Bulls’ side, winning a second game in a row, forcing a 6th game in the best of 7 series. Bulls won the first three games and are just one win away from advancing.
