A Fort Madison man was hurt in a three- car accident on Carman Road in rural Henderson County yesterday afternoon.
A car driven by 19 year old Jamal Finley of LaHarpe was traveling southbound on Carman road when he failed to yield while approaching two vehicles stopped at a turn. Finley’s pickup ran into the rear of a car driven by 64 year old Ronald Todd, whose vehicle was pushed into the back of another vehicle, driven by 30 year old Brian Covert of LaHarpe.
Todd was transported to Great River Medial Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Finley was ticketed for Reckless Driving, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid a Crash, and Following too Closely.
