The 19th Iowa Hawkeyes Baseball team fell in regionals to the 8th ranked Missouri State Bears 3-2 last night. That loss came after a 2-1 win over Oregon earlier in the day.

In Major League play the St. Louis Cardinals took down the Dodgers, 3-1. Cubs over the Royals in 11 innings 2-1. White Sox beat the Astros 6-0, and Minnesota beat Toronto 6-5.
At Dover speedway last night Jimmie Johnson took home the Trophy for his tenth win on the track, being only the fifth driver in history to win ten Sprint Cup Victories on the same track.
