Pauline Lucille Blair, age 86 of Morning Sun, died Thursday June 4, 2015 at Sunrise Terrace Care and Rehab Center in Winfield. The daughter of Guy and Julia (Ryan) Swails, she was born July 19, 1928 at rural Wapello. She married J. Earl Blair who preceded her in death in December of 1982. She worked at Nichols and Morning Sun Produce for 18 years and then at the Morning Sun Care Center as a CNA for 32 years.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Morning Sun.
Survivors include: one son, Dan and Linda Blair of Yarmouth; one daughter Joyce Herndon of Monticello; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and three sisters.
A graveside service will be Monday June 8, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery, with Pastor Jeff Duffy officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4:00 p.m. at the Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Morning Sun, where the family will meet with friends. A memorial has been established for Sunrise Terrace Care Center in her name.
