The 16 year old girl who police previously listed as abducted is now being treated as a runaway case.
16 year old Karyn Renee Mehaffy of Winfield was originally reported as abducted on Friday. Police now believe that she left on her own free will.
Police still believe she’s in the company of Wilfredo Martinez Gonzalez of Burlington, her boyfriend.
Officials no longer believe that Mehaffy is in danger.
