An early morning traffic stop ended in the discovery of over 30 grams of Methamphetamine in Henderson County on Sunday.
Henderson County Sheriff’s Department officials say that while responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the roadway west of Stronghurst, a deputy narrowly avoided a head-on collision with a vehicle driven by 28 year old Kyle Ott of Lomax that crossed into his lane.
The deputy stopped Ott in rural Stronghurst. A search of the vehicle turned up 37.5 grams of crystal meth, and Ott was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He faces up to 4 years in prison.
