Storms Force Three Days Grace to Cancel Steamboat Days Appearance

Steamboat Days President Kurt Wooldridge says that the strong storms that moved through the area on Saturday night caused serious damage to the sound equipment at Steamboat Days, forcing organizers to cancel all Saturday night entertainment.

Three Days Grace, a mainstream rock band, was scheduled to start playing at 8:00pm. The cancellation was announced at 9:00pm.

Storms with reported straight-line winds up to 70 mph blew through Southeast Iowa and Western Illinois on Saturday night, downing trees and power lines and knocking out power throughout much of the area.
