Two men were injured during a Saturday accident in Elvaston in Hancock County.
On Saturday afternoon, Mark K. Cole of Elvaston was traveling eastbound on US-136 in Elvaston when he failed to yield to the vehicle driven by Kent R. Wollbrink of Macomb and then ran off the north side of the road and struck a tree.
The Illinois State Police issued Cole with a citation for Aggravated DUI, Following too Closely, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid a Crash and Protruding Load. Mark and Robert Cole were both Air Lifted to Blessing Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
