A St. Louis Area Judge has ruled that approval from city voters is not necessary for the city to approve the construction of a new riverfront football stadium. That ruling is a win for supporters of that stadium proposal, which is designed to either keep the St. Louis Rams in St. Louis or lure another team to the area, if the Rams end up moving to Los Angeles. The stadium is expected to cost just short of a billion dollars.
