WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — Authorities are investigating after a 17-year-old was shot in Waterloo.
According to police, the teenager arrived at Covenant Medical Center around 1 a.m. Sunday with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Authorities say the victim was treated and released. Police believe the shooting happened about 15 to 20 minutes before the teenager arrived at the hospital.
Police say the teenager, whose name has not been released, would not reveal where the shooting took place.
No arrests have been made in the case.
