Burlington Fire Department Receives a $3,400 donation from Archer Daniels Midland Company

Burlington Fire Department received a donation from the Archer Daniels Midland Company. The donation of $3,400 will go towards the purchasing of new electronic devises in an effort to improve patient care, documentation, and reporting in the ambulance service. These devices will aid in the function and procedural aspects of the service for our constituents. “Funding is always a concern for the departmet and the City of Burlington, as we continue to stay cognizant of our fiscal responsibilities to the community. Being able to work with organizations such as A.D.M., who understands the importance of community and who continually strive for improvement within the community is an honor and a privilega.” Said Deputy Chief Don Ryan.

The Donation was given through ADM Cares. ADM Cares is a social investment program that directs funds to initiatives and organization that drives meaningful social, economic and environmental progress worldwide. The program comprises three distinct focus areas supporting the reponsible development of agriculture, improving the quality of life in ADM communities and fostering employee giving and volunteer activities.
