The Burlington Bees managed to take the last game of a three game series against Lake County, breaking a three-game losing streak as they won 10-8.

St. Louis Cardinals lost to Milwaukee following a two-run homer in the 8th inning from Milwaukee’s Khris Davis. They lost 5-4. Kansas City, in first place in the AL Central division by 11 games, widened their lead in that division last night beating division rival the Chicago White Sox 5-4. Minnesota Twins couldn’t get past Cleveland Ace Pitcher Corey Kluber as they lost to the Indians 8-1. Chicago Cubs completed a four game sweep of the defending world series champions, the San Fransisco Giants last night, winning 2-0.

Joey Logano had enough gas to win yesterday at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Race at Watkins Glen International. This comes a week after running out of gas during the final three laps of the race at Pocono. Kyle Busch, who also ran out of gas during the last few laps at Pocono, finished second.
