Greater Burlington Partnership to Host Burlington and West Burlington School Board Candidate Debates

Candidates running for the Burlington School Board and West Burlington School Board will address questions asked by representatives of the Greater Burlington Partnership’s government relations committee at two upcoming debates

The Burlington School Board debate will be held August 31, 5:30 PM at the administration building. Invited candidates running for four seats are Bryan Bross, Heather Brueck, Deb Hatteberg, Marlis Robberts and Mike Warner. The debate will be televised live on Channel 11 and is open to the public.

The West Burlington School Board debate will be held September 1, 5:30 PM in th council chambers at West Burlington’s City Hall (122 Broadway, West Burlington). Invited candidates running for three open seats are Andy crowner, Pam Dodds, Randy Rfy, Lynn Hartsock and Dan Hockett. The debate can be viewed live at http://www.westburlington.org/ and is open to the public.

Encouraging economic growth and creating strong ties with business are just a couple of the qualities that our members want to see out of our elected officials. the debates allow individuals and businesses the chance to see which candidates best align with their philosophy,” said Mark Foster, Government Relations Program Director.
