A Burlington man was hospitalized last night after beaten and robbed by a group of men.
Burlington Police say that a 21 year old resident of the Maple Hills Apartments was approached by a several people, described as black teenagers, who asked him for money. When he refused, the group assaulted him and took his wallet.
The victim suffered facial injuries that were described as “significant”. He was taken by private vehicle to Great River Medical Center.
No arrests have been made.
