Revolution Enterprises will mark its historic commencement of operations by holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony at their 75,525 square foot state of the art facility in Barry on Saturday at 10:30 am., followed by a job fair held at the YMCA, also in Barry

Revolution Enterprises is an Illinois-based company that designs, builds and manages intelligent facilities for cultivation, processing, and dispensing in states and countries where medical cannabis is licensed and regulated. The company’s national expansion plans entail managing facilities and license applications as additional states inevitably accept medicines derived from cannabis as a natural, alternative treatment for debilitating medical conditions.

Company spokesman Brad Vallerius says he expects the 75,000-sqare-foot Pike County facility to start growing medical cannabis by next week. The facility could eventually employ up to 70 workers, but will start with about a dozen employees.

“This is a rare, historic opportunity for Illinois workers to learn a new trade on the ground floor of a totally new industry,” said Tim McGraw, CEO of Revolution Enterprises. “Employees at Revolution Cannabis- Barry will become highly skilled at cultivating superior quality cannabis and producing pure, consistent medicines derived from it. Our employees will pioneer a completely new medical science.”

Revolution Enterprise seeks dependable employees who share the company’s vision of natural medicines derived from cannabis. These aren’t just ordinary jobs; they’re symbolic of a Revolution in medicine, culture, and thought. Available positions include those relating to cultivation, security and transport, processing, account management and others.

Illinois has the world’s most comprehensive regulatory system for cannabinoid research and development. It gives Illinois businesses a big headstart in leading a profitable new industry nationally and internationally. Beyond medicine, Illinois regulated medical cannabis also represents economic hope and survival.

Today, every region of Illinois has a licensed cultivation center under construction or build-out. The cultivation centers are proudly embraced by their local communities because of their inspirational compassion, entrepreneurial spirit and immense economic potential.

18 facilities statewide licensed to cultivate cannabis and produce medicines derived from cannabis.

Each of 18 licensed facilities has already paid $200,000 to Illinois government (18 x $200,000 = $3.6 million).

Competitive application process for cultivation centers and dispensaries already raised close to $5 million for Illinois government.

Illinois government receives a 7 percent tax on all cultivation center sales (in addition to regular corporate and business taxes).

Each cultivation center will employ 30-70 employees locally upon full operational capacity.

Property taxes on the assessed value of each facility is payable to local government.

First-mover position in Midwest + most stringent regulatory system nationally = ability to lead the world in pioneering a profitable new industry.
