The St. Louis Cardinals got a win last night 2-1 over the San Francisco Giants. Center Fielder Jason Heyward had to be taken out after two innings after complaining about left hamstring tightness. He did not return.
A 10th inning error cost the Minnesota Twins their game against the Yankees. Yankee’s Pitcher Bryan Mitchell was hit in the face with a line drive off of Twins’ Shortstop Eduardo Nunez’s bat.
The struggling Burlington Bees take on last-place Clinton tonight at home.
White Sox take on the LA Angels tonight. Minnesota continues their series against New York. In the National League it will be St. Louis and San Francisco again, Kansas City Royals have an interleague matchup with Cincinnati and the Cubs take on Detroit.
