Henry County Sheriff’s Deputies are on the lookout for a duo who witnesses say attempted to lure a 14 year old girl into their vehicle in rural Henry County on Sunday.
The department says in a news release that a man in his 70’s described as having a long white beard and white hair along with a female in her 20’s with long brown hair got out of a late 90’s Navy Blue Chevrolet Blazer alongside Highway 78 on Kentucky Avenue. They approached a 14 year old girl and attempted to get her to come closer to them. The girl ran into her house and told her parents, who came outside only to see the two suspects take off “in a hurry”. They headed east towards Winfield.
