The Burlington Bees took on the team with the best record in professional Baseball last night–the Quad Cities River Bandits, losing 2-1.

In the Major Leagues it was Chicago over the Dodgers, 2-0. Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta pitched the sixth no-hitter of the season and the 2nd against the Dodgers in just ten days.

St. Louis Cardinals took on the San Francisco Giants, they won 7-5.

White Sox beat the Mariners 6-5 in 11 innings.

Royals fell to Tampa Bay, 3-2.

And tragedy in Atlanta as a fan fell from the upper seating deck during the game between the Braves and the Yankees last night. A 60 year old man died in the fall.

In the history of 34 raceway there has never been a female champion…until last night when Kimbery Abbot of Camp Point, Illinois won the 2015 Four Cylinder TRack Championship. She’s 21.
