On September 9th, a police officer responded to a call about a disturbance behind the Fort Madison Library, where the officer found a heavily intoxicated and disruptive Adres Lee Diaz of Fort Madison.
As the police officer attempted to arrest Diaz, age 34, for public intoxication and disorderly conduct, Diaz resisted and physically attacked the officer.
Diaz is charged with 1 count of assault, one count of disorderly conduct, public intoxication and interference with official act.
