JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Police say they are searching for a university employee in connection with the shooting death of a Delta State University professor on the Mississippi campus.
They say they’ve identified Shannon Lamb as a “person of interest” in the shooting of history professor Ethan Schmidt. Investigators also say they have information suggesting Lamb may have been involved in another slaying about 300 miles away in south Mississippi.
