Shots Fired During Dispute at Burlington Bar

Police are searching for a man who fired a handgun into the air during an altercation at a Burlington Bar early this morning.

Police say that patrons at the White Horse Lounge at 504 South Adams reported that an argument between bar customers spilled out into the parking lot before hearing gunshots outside the bar.

A man who identified himself as the bar’s bouncer says that he was in the process of breaking up the fight in the parking lot when one of the subjects involved pulled out a handgun and began firing it in the air several times.

No one was hurt and no damage to property occured. No arrests have been made so far. The incident is still under investigation.
