Angela Nicole Nelson, age 37, of Keokuk, was arrested on Tuesday, September 29th, in the 1500 block of Morgan St. on a felony drug charge.
Nelson is charged with delivery of methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a park, a class C felony with an enhancement. If convicted, Nelson faces up to 15 years in a state correctional facility.
the arrest of Nelson stems from an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into allegations that she was involved in the distribution of illegal narcotics in the Lee County area.
The Lee County Attorney’s Office and the Keokuk Police Department assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.
