Two Charged in Connection with Danville Burglaries

A Danville man and a Middletown man are being charged in connection with a slew of burglaries in the Danville area.

On Saturday, Des Moines County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 18 year olds Brent James Duerksen of Danville and Dylon Joseph Kuster of Middletown.

Duerksen is believed to have been the actual burglar, and he’s charged with nine counts of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle–his 2nd offense, as well as a count of Third Degree Burglary, and one count of Trafficking in Stolen Weapons.

Kuster is charged on two counts of Trafficking in Stolen Weapons.

Duerksen is being held without bond. Kuster is being held in the Des Moines County Jail on $10,000 bond.

Officials say additional charges are pending.
