Keokuk Woman Arrested on Misdemeanor Drug Charges

Debra Marie Seabold, age 59, of Keokuk, was arrested on Thursday, October 8th, at the Keokuk Police Department on misdemeanor drug charges for allegedly being in illegal possession of prescription drugs.

Seabold is charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substances (prescription drugs without a perscription), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Drug House. If convicted, Seabold faces up to 5 years and 30 days in a state correctional facility.

The arrest of Seabold stems from a search warrant that was served in July of 2015. Seabold was living at the residence and items that support the charges were discovered. The Lee County Attorney’s Office, Keokuk Police Department, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.
