The Mediapolis Girls Cross County team won their own Invitational race yesterday thanks to sophomore Emma Gordon’s stellar performance. On the boys side it was Keiffer Sexton of Highland who took first place.

The Cubs have their opponent in the National League Championship series: The New York Mets. The Mets beat the Dodgers last night 3-2 in a comeback victory. They play the first game of that best-of-seven series tomorrow. Royals take on the Blue Jays in the ALCS tonight.
