The Kansas City Royals have won their American League Division Series and are heading to the American League Championships after beating the Houston Astros 7-2 thanks in part to Johnny Cueto’s performance on the mound, striking out the last 19 Houston batters. They’re moving on to face the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALCS, after the Blue Jays won last night over the Texas Rangers, 6-3.

The home run ball that Kyle Schwarber hit during game four of the NLDS game that saw the Chicago Cubs clinch the series against the St. Louis Cardinals is going to be staying on top of the video board at Wrigley field for now. A plexiglass case will be installed around the ball to protect it from the elements. We’ll know who the Cubs are playing in the NLCS after night, when the New York Mets and the LA Dodgers finish their series.
