A Temporary Human Bridge to Be Assembled in Burlington on Sunday

Free and open to participants of all ages, the Art Center of Burlington is hosting the People Project on Sunday, at the Burlington Memorial Auditorium parking lot, starting at 12:30 p.m.

Artist Chad Elliott will direct people into a temporary art installation of the Great River Bridge and a photo will be taken. Participants are encouraged to wear a shade of blue. Tammy McCoy, Executive Director of the Art Center of Burlington is hoping to draw in about 250 participants to make it a successful People Project.

The Blue Grass band “Raining Hay” will perform during the event.

McCoy says that the People Project was rained out when it was first scheduled in August. The current weather report calls for clear skies for Sunday.
