A suspect in an attempted murder case in Wapello was arrested in Missouri over the weekend.
22 year old Josh Bergen of rural Columbus Junction was arrested in the Central Missouri town of Boonville, near Columbia, on a Wapello Police Department warrant. Police say that Bergen stabbed two men outside of a Wapello bar in the early morning hours of October 11th.
He was extradited back to Iowa and is currently awaiting trial in the Louisa County jail on $150,000 bond.
