The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a physical altercation between neighbors at 2375 on 340th St., in Keokuk at 3:49 p.m., upon arrival officer’s found Nicholas J. Perry-Lachmann, age 29, of Fort Madison intoxicated and assaulting a friend’s neighbor.
Lachman was arrested for public intox and serious assault; the arresting officer conducted a search of Lachmann’s person and discovered marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and other contraband.
He is charged with public intox, serious assault, possession of contraband, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Lachmann is out on bond which was set at $7,300.
