Offer Apparently Made on Burlington Crossing Development

The City of Burlington apparently has an offer on the table from a Developer that wants to purchase the Burlington Crossing property on the corner of Agency and Roosevelt.

They’ll set a public hearing date for that offer tonight at their regularly scheduled council meeting.

The company making the offer calls itself “Burlington Crossings Real Estate, LLC”, and plans to purchase the property for the cost of $2.4 million.

The Crossings property is mixed-use, and could include both commercial and residential developments.

The property was off the market for several years while Omaha-based Realty Group, Dial Realty, attempted to find developers for the property. They were unsuccessful in doing so and will not re-sign their agreement with the City at the end of this year.
