Man Shot at South Street Home, One Arrested

A Burlington man has been arrested as another recovers in the hospital following an early evening shooting on South Street in Burlington.

Burlington Police say in a press release that at around 7:00 pm, police and emergency crews were dispatched to the BP Gas Station on the corner of Madison and South Street to a report of a man suffering a gunshot wound.

An investigation revealed that the man was shot at a home in the 700 block of South Street. Police arrested 52 year old Tracey Wilson Bryant on charges of Willful Injury and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to Great River Medical Center for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
