Downtown businesses officially rang in the holiday season on Sunday with the annual Holiday Open House Downtown.
20 Stores opened their doors with special deals, free samples, and giveaways, including a giveaway for $1,000 Downtown Dollars.
“It’s kind of a kickoff for the Holiday season. Starting now, some shops will be open Sunday hours and Thursday evening hours, making it easier for people to make it out when they’re working,” Steve Frevert, the president of Downtown Partners, told KBUR.
The Christmas Decorations officially went up in Downtown Burlington to ring in the festivities, with tinsels and wreaths providing a sharp contrast will the sunny skies and still-leafy trees.
